Work From Home Scams
I’m sure you’ve seen the advertising and there might even be some appearing in the Google ads on this page. Someof them almost look plausible while others are obviously too good to be true and then there are the others that are harder to spot.
And if you don’t spot them they can end up costing you a lot of money.
These days there are so many people who are desperate to work from home and that means there are rich pickings for scam artists. But how do you tell the genuine offers from the scams?
Little Red Flags Used to Spot a Scam may help you and stop you from falling into the clutches of the scammers.
My thanks to Martin from Home Office Voice for pointing me to this article

Happy to have been of service to you, Stuart
It’s very sad, but even in the blogosphere there’s way more dodgy Home Business-type blogs than the real deal - like yours and mine. Seriosuly, I can only count around 15-20 blogs seriosuly dedicated to home business whereas I’ve come acrosss dozens upon dozens of splogs and other “work from home / home business’ crap.
Now, put me on your blogroll, damn it!

ROFL
I would rather go to the stocks than bend my knee to a blogroll
It just ticks me off that so many people want to rely on others for good search engine placement - far better to do the hard yards yourself than cling to a blog roll and hope others will get you where you want to be.
I don’t know - I shouldn’t get angry about it people have been trying to rely on others for good SERPS for as long as I’ve been on the Net - they never learn and they never listen.
I know what you mean about the home business blogs - carpetbaggers and snake oil salesmen abound on the Net and people desperate to work from home are ripe pickings for them.
Good luck with your new venture mate - I was going to go over and post a smart-arsed comment about the delays and then thought better of it - been there done that with launch dates

Go ahead, make a smart-arsed comment, I dare you
Give it your best shot, Stuart
- I guess I left myself open to it so think nothing of it.
blogrolls. hmmm… maybe we should change the term blogroll to blog networks - I’ve heard it bandied around that blog networks are starting to look like glorified link farms … you reckon I’d be virtually lynched if I went down that road ?

Funny you should say that about blogrolls Martin - I was probably looking at the same place you were and was thinking much the same thing.
As for saying it over there? You’re a braver man than I am mate - I wouldn’t even dare think of saying it.
