Hi I am waiting on a parcel from toll i pec in perth well they tried to deliver it but said I was not at home , well I saw the truck as I pulled up at my home he sat there while I rang the depot to be told that the items had come back to them . Well I rang them at the depot and was told that they could not locate the items (there are 2 pieces ) and that they would ring me when they locate them ?? but after reading these comments I doubt if they will ?? so now I am out of pocket by $139 and cant get a refund as it is not kogans fault it is tolls fault so there you go yet a nother place I will tell everyone not to buy from or use for delivery !

I am going through the exact same thing now. Except im not a business - im on holidays, which means i have to sit at home everyday assuming that it could come at any time, or be near the phone (as i have to sign for it). And its not a monitor. It's a $2,000 guitar im waiting for.
Not only do they have no idea where it is (even though its been scanned into melbourne after being sent from syndey on my tracker), I have no idea how it's been treated, WHERE it's been sitting all this time.
So frustrating.
Thank god for postal insurance because I'm now almost certain now that it either isn't coming, or is going to be damaged when it finally does.

It was worth reading again! Thanks for this. It is related to the software development concept of “analysis paralysis”. It is paralyzing having too many choices. I got completely overwhelmed, then frustrated by what I wasn't learning.

I totally agree with you, Toll Ipec are happy to charge you the minute the goods are picked up, but as soon as there is a problem no body wants to know you. They get away with this by putiing you on hold for hours and transferring you around the place, with each person advising they cannot help you and you will need to talk to someone else. I am now in dispute with them over being charged an excess amount for my goods, but again no-one from Toll Ipec has the decency to contact you. My goods were picked up on the 21st Dec and were not delivered until 6th Jan and this was only because I started to rant and rave, it took me to get nasty, for anything to happen at all !!

I've just had my own problems (similar to yours) with toll. I sent 2 boxes from Karratha to South Australia December 5th, they were scanned in to Perth on the 8th where they sat. After checking track my parcel 4 days later, they were still there, so my phone calls & e mail enquiries started. I to received the run around, but I was persistent, eventually they delivered 1 box on the 16th, so I was left chasing the other. Eventually the other was found still in Perth & I was assured it would be on the truck that night, surprise, surprise it wasn't. I checked the track my parcel today 22/12/11 & it has finally been delivered, not bad huh, 17 days for packages to be delivered. When I typed in toll ipec complaints I found this, its good to know its not just me this has happened to, but its disgusting that it happens at all, there should be someone to be held accountable.
I hope you finally get the outcome that you're after.

Great post, and reall touching by the way. It's always good to have something like, to let us remember why we are working so hard. Our families are the reason for that, and we really should give time to spend for them. Thanks for this.

Thanks for stopping by Maria. Toni and I understand where you're coming from. While we may not exactly go out and party after we've made a mistake we always do sit down and analyze the why, when and how of whatever it was that went pear-shaped.

We find that the sooner we can do that the better our chance is of making a quick recovery.

The irony in this quote is that the greatest life and business lesson's I've had - in particular over the last two years - have been through mistakes/ failures. Sharing these failures with others in a way where you can also share the learning's is very powerful and engaging. Nobody likes to listen to a 'looser' whine and complain. :-) Maria
